Engineers who choose this specialization typically work in the food industry. The objective is to prepare them for the technical, organisational, regulatory, economic and human challenges of these organisations. They will also be able to implement and manage production processes, technological innovation and development programmes, or quality and safety policies.

1. Take part in a food product and/or process innovation project, from the creation of new products to their industrialisation, adapting to consumer needs, QHSE-CSR strategy, technological feasibility and economic viability.
2. Organise food production, coordinating raw materials and supplier management, team management, maintenance of production equipment and performance monitoring.
3. Ensure regulatory compliance, promote and adapt risk culture and management in food quality, hygiene and safety, occupational safety, environment and CSR, as well as continuous improvement, in the manufacture of food products (animal and human nutrition).
4. Collaborate effectively by managing a team, handling a budget, working in autonomous teams, contributing to industrial strategies (production, R&D, etc.) and taking part in project management or execution.
