Internationalization is a key focus of ISARA’s development, preparing our students, alumni, and partners for the major global agricultural and food challenges.
All students must complete an academic or professional stay abroad for at least one semester during their studies: either studying at a partner university abroad and/or completing an internship focused on economic, professional, agricultural, and food issues.

Each year, on average, more than 400 mobility programs abroad are recorded.

These mobility programs enable students to acquire professional skills as well as linguistic, academic, and intercultural skills. They promote personal development and better integration into the job market.

ISARA draws on a network of more than 120 partner universities, some of which are world-renowned, in some 40 countries across Europe, Asia, North America, South America, and Africa.

The school also cultivates a network of more than 500 companies, research laboratories, consular organizations, and NGOs offering professional experiences abroad.

Nearly 400 alumni reside outside France.

Internationalization also involves training programs and the mobility of teaching and research staff.

ISARA offers eight dual degrees in Europe (Italy, Norway, Netherlands), South America (Brazil, Chile), and Africa (Ivory Coast), including two Master of Science degrees taught entirely in English.

These English-language programs welcome students from around the world, who contribute to the school’s cultural diversity.
An international outlook, academic excellence, and hands-on immersion… These are just some of the advantages that help train future professionals in agriculture, food, and the environment.

Erasmus+ Program

The Erasmus+ program offers teachers and administrative staff the opportunity to undertake a teaching assignment or training period in Europe and around the world.

Erasmus+ mobility programs allow school staff to:

  • teach courses at a partner institution
  • benefit from training/internship/observation periods at a partner company or higher education institution
  • combine both teaching and training activities

Mobility of our teams

In order to train our engineering students in international skills, we need to surround ourselves with a teaching team that itself has international reach and expertise.

The quality of our teams and their research activities guarantees the quality of our teaching and training programs. We therefore work to achieve this through:

  • Outgoing and incoming mobility for teachers, researchers, and doctoral students with our university partners or through European and international programs
  • Involvement in European and international research programs
  • The hiring of international teachers, researchers, and staff
