The MSc STAFI is accredited by the Conférence des Grandes Écoles and recognized by the French government. It is designed for students and professionals who wish to develop high-level skills in responsible business, at the heart of sustainability issues in the agri-food sector.

At the crossroads of business, agriculture, and sustainable food, this MSc (Master of Science) trains students to innovate, entrepreneurship, and manage in a rapidly changing sector. It covers the entire value chain and combines the fundamentals of management and project management with the scientific and technical knowledge essential to these sectors.

Terms and format

The MSc STAFI program is the result of cooperation between ISARA and ISEMA, a business school, both members of the AGRIVIA union.

The program is based at our Avignon campus.

  • Master of Science accredited by the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles and certified by the French government as a Level 7 qualification – RNCP 39096
  • Total duration: 24 months for a total of 840 hours
  • Language(s): mainly French in the first year + mainly English in the second year (i.e., 50% in English over the two years)
  • Format: Face-to-face
  • Status: Full-time or work-study (subject to conditions)
  • Internship duration/professional experience: 9 weeks optional in the first year and 18 weeks mandatory in the second year
  • Start date: September 1

Application procedure

The admissions process is administered by ISEMA.

  • Bac+3 minimum degree (or validation of professional experience)
  • Selection based on application, interview, and written tests.
  1. Application declaration confirmed after payment of the €35 application fee by credit card (secure payment via Stripe).
  2. Complete the application form via the link received by email.
  3. – CV with photo
  4. – 1 scanned portrait photo
  5. – High school transcript
  6. – Transcripts for all years of post-high school studies and copies of higher education diplomas obtained (with transcript)
  7. – Copy of National Identity Card
  8. – TOEIC score if already taken
  9. Review of application file upon receipt of a complete file.
  10. Invitation to the admissions day for candidates (admissions test, meeting with students and alumni, teachers, person in charge of work-study placements, etc.).

For candidates for Continuing Professional Education

Provide us with: a detailed resume and cover letter outlining your background, experience, and career goals (2-3 pages expected). Particular attention will be paid to the cover letter.

Prerequisites

MSc1

  • Bac+3 obtained or in progress (Licence 3, Licences professionnelles, etc.), or equivalent French diploma (e.g., certified or professional qualifications at level 6),
  • or recognized equivalent foreign diplomas
  • or proof of 180 ECTS
  • VAP: candidates with a Bac+2 and at least 5 years of professional experience in the fields covered by the program.

MSc2

  • Bac+4/5 obtained or in progress (Master 1 or 2, etc.), or equivalent French diploma (e.g., certified or professional qualifications at level 7),
  • or foreign diplomas recognized as equivalent
  • or proof of 240 ECTS
