POST-DOC POSITION ON THE DESIGN OF POLICY INSTRUMENTS FOR AGROBIODIVERSITY

AGRICULTURAL ECONOMIST

MISSIONS:

As a member of Isara’s Laboratory of Rural Studies (LER) research team, and under the supervision of the CLEAR project principal investigator at Isara, you will work on the development and evaluation of policy instruments to support agrobiodiversity in agricultural landscapes. Your work will be embedded in the European project CLEAR, within which, in partnership with a European consortium, you will coordinate the design and implementation of a quantitative survey on the choice and evaluation of policy instruments and analyse the obtained results.

This position is of a duration of 12 months and subject to extension depending on project acquisition and funding.

Position to be filled by September 2024.

PROFIL:

  • PhD in agricultural/ecological/environmental economics or similar.
  • Proven skills in choice modelling, statistics/econometrics, and quantitative methods overall.
  • Experience with survey design, dissemination and implementation (in France and/or EU level).
  • Motivation to work with qualitative approaches and interdisciplinary settings.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Experience with data analysis and statistics software, preferably R.
