A member of the UMRH (Joint Research Unit on Herbivores), and more specifically of the PERAQ team (Livestock Farming Practices, Robustness, Adaptation, and Product Quality) at INRAE – Auvergne-Rhône Alpes Center 63 122 Saint-Genès-Champanelle, Sghaier Chriki works on:

  • understanding, predicting, and improving beef quality
  • assessing consumer expectations for beef
  • understanding consumer attitudes toward meat alternatives (“cultured meat”; insects).

Cryopreservation

A member of the ICE (Cell-Environment Interactions) research unit at VetAgrosup, Thierry Joly is working on the development of new cryopreservation protocols to guarantee the reproductive potential of frozen cells and the quality of samples preserved over the long term – CRB Anim Project (Investissement d’Avenir, ANR).
