Ongoing or recently completed projects

  • Isère Ponds Project No. 2 2024-2026, as part of the 2024 biodiversity call for projects from the Isère Departmental Council (Research and Development Focus).
  • Projet CaSDo : Statistical mapping of soils in the Dombes region. IGCS program (Inventory for Soil Management and Conservation) funded by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty and co-funded by the Dombes Community of Municipalities and the Rhône-Mediterranean-Corsica Water Agency.
  • Projet CLEAR : Collaborative Landscape Planning for Enhanced Agrobiodiversity and Resilience. Key words: Agroecosystem services, collaborative practices, indicators, landscape, agri-environmental policies.
Funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR) as part of the Sus-Crop ERA NET call for projects.
  • Projet PSE Dombes : Scientific monitoring of the PES (Payment for Environmental Services) program in Dombes from 2022 to 2026. The program aims to preserve water resources: quantitative aspects (adapting agro-fishery systems to climate change) and qualitative aspects (mitigating diffuse pollution from pesticides). Funded by the Dombes Community of Municipalities and the Rhône-Méditerranée-Corse Water Agency.

Activités d’enseignement

  • Data science: Spatial analysis and GIS (Geographic Information System) mapping, tools, methods, data, applications.
  • Agronomy and cropping systems: crop protection, pesticide use and future, challenges and tools of digital agriculture.
  • Agroenvironment and resource management: water management at the agricultural watershed scale, water erosion of soils, diffuse transfers, diagnostic tools, digital tools, and spatial indicators for assessing the ecological functions and services of the landscape.

Professional experience and education

  • Since 2013 : ISARA Professor-Researcher in the AGE Agroecology and Environment Research Unit.
  • 2004 to 2012 : Research engineer at ISARA
Contributions to multiple applied research projects, expert assessments, and agro-environmental evaluations.
Development of various teaching units in GIS, agronomy, and agro-environment, implementation of various programs and expert assessments of agro-environmental evaluation in agro-aquaculture systems (ponds).
  • 2012 : Doctorate – Grenoble INP. Spatial characterization of surface runoff in rural landscapes to provide knowledge for improving modeling tools.
  • 2006 : Master II in Water and Environment – Montpellier SupAgro.
  • 2002 : ISARA engineering degree.
